Teresan Scholarship Fund
The Teresan Scholarship Fund was established in 1991. After the closing of the College, the court ordered the remaining College of Saint Teresa endowments to be managed by the Alumnae Association as the Teresan Scholarship Fund. Teresans who are paid members of the Alumnae Association may sponsor themselves or anyone else who has met the application criteria for a Teresan scholarship.
Undergraduate scholarships are for students attending a Catholic institution; Graduate scholarships are for students attending any accredited institution, regardless of affiliation. Teresans may also sponsor themselves for a Teresan Enrichment scholarship for conferences, seminars, CEU credits, or other professional education opportunities. Applicants may apply no more than once per 12-month period.
Deadlines for undergraduate and graduate applications are
July 1 and November 1
SPONSOR MUST HAVE CURRENT DUES PAID.
(Our year runs from July 1st to June 30th)
Teresan Enrichment applications may be submitted on the
1st of any month
The awards are made only from interest earned on the Fund, so interest rates affect award amounts, as does the number of applicants. The applicant’s academic record, service history, financial need, and other factors are also considered in determining the amount of the award.
