The Tea House Memory Brick Garden came to fruition with the “Faithful Friends – CST – Class of 1955”, then led by Dorothy Pecholt Geis ’55* and Nancy Fullerton Flood ’55*, wanting to support the repair costs of the ever-aging Tea House back in 2006.  The Class of 1955 then began a crusade to make sure that all 18 of their nursing classmates were honored and recognized in the brick garden. From there, the project grew and grew, and now sits proudly on the front lawn of our beloved Tea House building at the corner of Wabasha and Gould Streets. As of 2025, Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota owns the building, and plan to rent it out to anyone that desires to “meet at the Tea House”.

The photos below are from the Tea House Memory Brick Garden, memorializing those who have gone before us and honoring those Sisters of Saint Francis, Teresan and faculty/staff that laid the foundation for servant leadership in our lives.
